ALABAMA (WIAT) — Three Alabama malls are joining the push-back against opening on Thanksgiving Day. The malls in Huntsville, Dothan and Gadsden will be closed on November 24.
The general manager at the Gadsden Mall says this will allow customers and employees to enjoy the holiday. Therefore, everything inside the mall will be closed on Thanksgiving.
Department stores with outdoor entrances and the movie theater will have the option to open.
The mall itself will reopen for Black Friday at 6 a.m.
