Scattered Sprinkles Around Sunday, Warmer Temps Coming

sunday

We actually had a few light showers move from south to north through the area this morning and afternoon. Showers were very light and didn’t amount to much, but the moisture in the air and the scattered sprinkles were a welcome sight. However, we go back to dry and warm tomorrow.

Tonight: Clouds will persist through the evening and overnight, leading to mild overnight and morning temperatures. Lows will only fall to the mid 60s by Monday morning.

Monday: Expect more sunshine for Monday and warmer temperatures as well. Highs will soar into the mid and upper 80s under a partly cloudy sky. These temperatures are some 10 degrees above average. Monday night will be mostly clear and mild. Lows Tuesday morning will fall to the mid 60s.

Rest of the Week: Warm temperatures will persist into the middle of the week, with upper 80s and close to 90 degree weather through Wednesday. A cold front approaches on Thursday, with increased rain chances and a real shot of cooler air coming for the end of the weekend and next weekend.
