JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Jefferson County Schools is working to realign some of its special needs classes.
Right now, the 20 students are attending school at Hueytown Elementary, but we are told the classes are overcrowded. Some parents say they are concerned about the move especially now that school year is underway.
We are told the students have been taken on field trips to their new school to help them get acclimated.
There is no set date for when the move will happen. We will keep you posted on any developments.
