ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — The St. Clair County teen accused of assisting a terrorist act is expected to return to the classroom.
After nearly 11 months in jail, Peyton Pruitt plans to return to St. Clair County High School. At the court’s direction, Peyton will be under law enforcement supervision.
The 19 year old was arrested last November for communicating with people he believed to be terrorists.
On Tuesday, a judge found Pruitt not guilty by mental defect and ordered his release.
