ALABAMA (WIAT) — Suspended Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore is refusing to clean out his office. Tuesday was the deadline the acting chief justice gave Moore to clean out his office.

Moore says he has several items that cannot be quickly removed. He also says he is appealing his suspension from the bench.

Acting Chief Justice Lyn Stuart has not responded to Moore not moving out.

The court suspended Moore after finding he failed to respect and comply with the law for telling probate judges not to allow same-sex marriage.
