ATLANTA (WIAT) — Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Fright Fest is going on at Six Flags over Georgia!
Organizers say this year’s attraction is the largest one so far. It features four new theme areas, including a new maze and two new scare zones.
There’s also one new feature that a spokesman says park goers have been raving about.
“The Witching Hour has been so popular this year because when people leave the park you think you are safe and there are no more monsters coming to get you, but guess what, The Witching Hour is the last hour of the park,” Gene Petriello said. “We send all of our monsters to the front gate of the park so as you are exiting, you are getting one last scare and our guests have absolutely loved it.”
Fright Fest runs for the next two weekends and even on Halloween night.
There is also a new show called CarnEvil at the theme park, which does feature clowns.
When asked about the clowns and the creepy clown scares, Petriello says the clowns at the park are there to have fun. He also says the clowns are all in good fun.
