BIRMINGHAM, Ala (WIAT) — The USDA is issuing two food recalls to keep your family safe.
Saint Clair Foods of Memphis, Tennessee is recalling more than 26,000 pounds of chicken and dumplings because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The recall affects two and five pound plastic packages of the chicken and dumplings. They were shipped to several states in the South, including Alabama. If you have any at home, throw them away or return them to where you bought them.
Brookwood Farms of North Carolina is also issuing a recall. They are recalling more than 126,000 pounds of pulled pork because of misbranding and undeclared allergens. This recall involves five pound plastic bags of the pork. There have been no reports of illness from the pork. If you have any at home, throw it away or return it to where you bought it.
