ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to a robbery, according to a release from the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department.
Tyler Daniel Watts, 27, has been arrested and charged with one count of first degree robbery, according to Investigator Jeremy Lasseter.
According to the release, two individuals arrived at Watts’s residence to reportedly retrieve items that belonged to them. Watts then allegedly invited the men inside of the house, and held one of them at gunpoint with an AR-15 rifle before taking their cell phone and wallet.
Watts then let the victims leave. He is currently being held at the Etowah County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
