CHILTON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Officials say a number of wildfires in Chilton County this morning in the Refuge and Gap of the Mountain area were set intentionally.

The sheriff’s office says there is a vehicle of interest–an 80s model blue Ford pickup with a white stripe, driven by a white male.

Currently, the Alabama Forestry Commission says there are six wildfires in Chilton County; four are contained at this time.

Anyone with information on the vehicle is asked to contact the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office.
