GLENCOE, Ala. (WIAT) — A man and a woman were killed Wednesday in Glencoe, and the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
According to Natalie Barton with the sheriff’s office, the woman’s son has been arrested and charged with capital murder of two or more persons.
Barton says 65-year-old Joyce Ann Brown Good and her boyfriend, 62-year-old Jimmie Ray Lively, were fatally shot Wednesday shortly after noon at a home on Aderholt Street.
Good’s son, Jeremy James Jerry, 43, is accused of killing them after an argument. Barton says critical evidence was captured on security cameras outside the home, and the suspect confessed his involvement in the double homicide.
