MIAMI VALLEY, Ohio (WDTN) — Millions of dollars in ads and more than a year of campaigning have led to Election Day where voters will decide who will be our 45th president.
In terms of spending, recent numbers show Hillary Clinton outspent Donald Trump by a 2-to-1 ratio in battleground states.
According to a NBC News report, more than $385 million has been spent on TV ads in 13 key swing states, including Ohio. Of the total, Clinton and her supporters have spent $260 million.
Florida is the state where the most money has been spent.
Trump’s final ad aired Friday during the NFL and NCAA games and during NASCAR races. Hillary Clinton’s last pitch aired Monday night on NBC and CBS.
