(WIAT) — Jury deliberations continue in the Justin Ross Harris Trial. Jurors had the day off on Veteran’s Day, so they will continue for their fourth day of deliberations.
Twelve men and women are deciding the fate of Tuscaloosa native Justin Ross Harris, deciding whether or not he intentionally left his 22-month-old son Cooper in a hot car to die.
Harris is facing eight charges, including Malice Murder. The last time the jury met before their break on Friday, it appeared tensions were high. One juror was seen crying during a break.
They also asked to replay surveillance video that shows Harris going to his car at lunch the same day his son was inside.
There were more than 70 witness testimony and more than 1,000 pieces of evidence to consider.
Deliberations begin at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time.
