(WIAT) — Amid the protests, President-elect Donald Trump continues his transition to the White House.
On Sunday, Trump officially named Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus as his chief of staff, while the former head of Breitbart News, Steve Bannon, was named chief strategist and senior counselor.
The president-elect also gave his first post-election broadcast interview to “60 Minutes” Sunday night. He appeared to soften on his campaign promise, which was to build a wall along the Mexico-United States border.
Right now, the main focus for the president elect is to get the protests calmed down. He is urging Americans not to be afraid of his presidency.
