University police are investigating a second incident of sexual assault that happened on campus over the weekend.
According to the police, the assault happened Sunday around 2 a.m. in or around the parking area of Solomon’s Lot on Wallace Wade Ave.
The female student was reportedly forced into a vehicle, a red Jeep Cherokee, and assaulted by two males. The suspects are described as Hispanic, around 6’2″ with a wiry build, and police say the Jeep was theirs.
An on-campus rape of a female student that occurred over the weekend is also under investigation. A suspect has been arrested in that case.

The safety and health of our students is a top priority for our campus. The University is concerned about any incident that potentially jeopardizes the safety and security of the campus community. A notice was sent out as a timely warning to campus as soon as it was reported and information was available. UAPD is working with the Tuscaloosa County Homicide Unit to investigate the incident.
