COLLINSVILLE, Ala. (WIAT) — Two Dekalb County residents are behind bars after the sheriff’s office received a tip through their website about possibly drug activity at Timber Ridge Apartments.

The DeKalb County Drug and Major Crimes Unit went to the residence and received consent to search, Sheriff Jimmy Harris says. They reportedly found meth and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

56-year-old Paula Jean Henderson and 27-year-old Joseph Allen Williford, both of Collinsville, were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

“Thanks to the concerned citizens for emailing us about criminal activity on the www.dekalbcountysheriff.org  website tip line, we are able to get some of this drug activity off the streets. Please keep using the tip line to report any criminal activity or call the office at (256) 845-3801.”
