JASPER, Ala. (WIAT) — A two-vehicle crash at 4:08 p.m. on Wednesday has resulted in the death of an elderly Florence woman, according to a release from Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Lola Hamilton Bradford, 89, was killed when the 2001 Chevrolet Impala in which she was a passenger collided with a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox. The crash occurred on Alabama 69, about 15 miles north of Jasper.
Bradford, who was not wearing a seatbelt was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Impala, Laural Chandler, 67, was airlifted to UAB Hospital. The Equinox’s driver, Marlena Hand, 31, was also transported to a hospital.
