TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — It’s a big week in Alabama! The one week every Auburn and Alabama football fan waits for each year. Thousands will head to Tuscaloosa for Saturday’s Iron Bowl game.

The rivalry game is good news for local businesses in T-town. It’s expected to generate millions for the local economy and Rama Jama’s restaurant is ready to cash in.

The restaurant sits right next to Bryant-Denny Stadium. The owner tells us it’s his best week of business each year and that everyone is ready for the fans to arrive.

“It’s a big business day for us, last week was a good business, but the Alabama Auburn game is another look or level,” Rama Jama’s owner Gary Lewis said. “It is something all the fans look forward too every year and the businesses look forward too every year and we are excited about one more time.”

This Saturday will be the 81st meeting between the Tide and the Tigers. Our coverage kicks off Friday night at 6:30 p.m. with our “Road to the Iron Bowl” special.

On Saturday, The Red Zone pregame show live from Bryant-Denny is on from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m.

Make sure to stick around after the game for The Red Zone post game show with Nick Saban and Gus Malzahn live only on CBS42.
