TUSCALOOSA, Ala (WIAT) — We all know it’s okay to be a house divided during the Iron Bowl, but what if you’re heading to the game? Many people may be looking for last-minute tickets or a place to stay, so if you’re looking, it’s important to take into consideration the high cost of not only tickets, but hotel and parking as well.
We spoke with John Ed Belvin of T-Town Tickets, who say prices are already high.
“Well they’re going anywhere from $300 to $500 a ticket, a pretty good range,” Belvin said. “It actually will probably be a little more had Auburn not lost to Georgia and the SEC West would be riding on this game. Auburn losing to Georgia held it down a little bit, but there is still a lot of action going on.”
Experts say last minute tickets and accommodations could total upwards of $2,000, but if that’s too much, you can catch the Iron Bowl right here on CBS42 at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
