Hoover, Ala. (WIAT)- Shoppers lined up bright and early Friday and made their way into the Galleria. Parking lots were packed all day and inside, shoppers looked for those bargains.
For Tracie McAdams and Judy Walters it’s tradition. They even had these shirts made just for Black Friday.
“We have two granddaughters, and all four of us have on the same shirt,” said Walters.
Everyone is finding something they like, but Debra Delain is enjoying time with her family shopping.
“We are getting some Christmas gifts, getting in the spirit of the holiday, and getting some good deals,” said Delain.
At the scene, Hoover Police have set up a mobile command center equipped with cameras, to make sure shoppers are safe.
“To signal not only to any potential criminals that are out here but the public coming in that we are here we are here to help people where they want to go and do in safely,” said Lt. Keith Czeskleba.
