BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, multiple burglaries were reported in the McCalla area on November 21. The break-in locations ranged from Moore Cemetery Road to Bell Hill Road to Lou George Loop. All of the break-ins were reported to have happened between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. that day. Electronics, money and guns were some of the items stolen.
A cell phone that is believed to have been dropped by the suspect was found at one of the burglary locations. Detectives have developed a suspect based on the information from the phone.
Detectives have identified the suspect as 29-year-old Jessie Jacolby Robertson of Bessemer. Robertson also has an outstanding felony warrant for Theft of Property in the Second Degree with no bond. Burglary and Theft charges are to be expected, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Jessie Jacolby Robertson is still at large. It is believed that he is in the Bessemer area.
