BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — It’s a big weekend for football! It’s the first Saturday of December, which means the SEC Championship.
Antonio Langham, one of the legends of the SEC Championship game, joined Art in the studio on Friday for the CBS42 Morning Show discuss the game. Langham reminisced about the very first SEC Championship that was held in Birmingham at Legion Field in 1992. Many consider that game one of the best SEC Championships ever.
He talked about what it was like 25 years ago to get the interception when the game was tied 21 to 21 and take it in for a touchdown to win the game with 3 minutes 16 seconds left in the game.
