CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — According to the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, investigators arrested Jeffery Lynn Grandstaff, 30, of Vinemont, for two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree, Receiving Stolen Property in the First Degree and Receiving Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree on Wednesday, December 7.

After the investigation by the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, they said they arrested the suspect with two truckloads of stolen property. Investigators learned that Grandstaff had allegedly been breaking into storage buildings by picking locks. Grandstaff was not cutting and removing the locks, which made it more difficult for the storage owners to notice they had been burglarized.

The Cullman COunty Sheriff’s Office recovered the items Grandstaff allegedly stole, which includes baseball cards, electronics, luggage and other items. If you had a storage facility burglarized and would like to see if some of the items are your property, call the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeffrey Lynn Grandstaff is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center on a $45,000 bond.
