TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The family of 30-year-old Jenny Brannon is desperate to find her. She has been missing for more than a week, and they are afraid she is in danger.
“She has been our whole life, we don’t want any harm, we love her we want her back,” said her mother Johnnie Brannon.
The family last saw her December 2. Her father said he last talked to their daughter on phone on December 4, and she said she was in the Coaling area.
“I talked to her at 5:30 a.m. because I looked at the clock it wasn’t even daylight yet. She sounded fine but I wasn’t looking at her, I talked her,” her father Edward Brannon said.
Her mother also talked to her on the phone that day. Since then, they have not heard from her.
“She would have called somebody–she hasn’t called anybody,” her mom said.
The family says she went out to the area with a friend to meet some people. Jenny’s friend told the family she saw her at noon on the 4th before leaving.
“I am going to find you; I am not going let this happen,” her dad said.
Jenny lives with her parents in Tuscaloosa where a missing person’s report has been filed. Investigators tell us they are doing everything they can to try and find her.
“We will try to subpoena phone records to see where they were last used, we will do every effort we can to locate her,” Captain Brad Mason said.
If anyone has any information on her whereabouts, please call the Tuscaloosa Police Department (205) 349-2121.
